About the Role
This role involves driving technical engagement for AR-HUD, QVUE Projection HUD, and next-generation vehicle display products with Japanese OEMs. You will collaborate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to support integration, perform hands-on setup, debugging, and performance evaluation, and act as a key technical liaison for the global Visual Experiences product team.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical engagement for AR-HUD, QVUE Projection HUD, and neoQLED / OLED / microLED based in-vehicle display products with Japanese OEMs.
- Collaborate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to support the integration of AR-HUD / P-HUD / various display products into vehicle platforms.
- Perform hands-on tasks including demo setup, debugging, software function verification, display tuning, and environmental measurements.
- Evaluate optical performance of HUD and displays using luminance meters, photometers, and camera-based measurement equipment.
- Conduct verification and on-site testing in compliance with standards such as SAE J1757 and ISO 15008.
- Optimize HUD/display rendering content in collaboration with HMI/UX teams.
- Deliver technical presentations, roadmap explanations, and demonstrations at exhibitions and customer events.
- Conduct training for OEMs on setup, calibration, diagnostics, and operation.
- Serve as the key technical contact for the global Visual Experiences product team in Japan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
- 10-15 years of practical experience in engineering and product management.
- Technical understanding of AR-HUD, P-HUD, in-vehicle displays (neoQLED / OLED / microLED), optics, software, and vehicle E/E architecture.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
