About the Role
Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn is seeking Summer Camp Counselors to provide campers with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment for a well-rounded sports education and camp experience. This role offers valuable experience within a growing sports and fitness company.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all camper activities, ensuring the wellbeing of campers throughout the day
- Work with other camp staff to plan and coordinate camp events
- Oversee campers' compliance with rules and prevent accidents
- Maintain cleanliness of camp facility and equipment
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Report all incidents, such as camper illness, accidents, and rule violations to Camp Director
- Memorize all emergency procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Must be punctual, friendly, motivated, and alert
- Must be neat and well-groomed
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Must have the ability to be flexible and rise above stressful situations
- Must be able to commit for at least four or eight weeks of work
