About the Role

Wright Beverage Distributing is seeking Full-Time Drivers with a Class A license to join their team. The role involves training and development opportunities, with the potential to grow within the company. Drivers may report to or depart from a nearby warehouse. Responsibilities

• Report to work in a clean and neat company uniform.
• Perform and file daily DOT truck safety inspection reports.
• Check all fluid levels before starting the truck.
• Load and verify all BBLs and add-on orders before departing on the delivery route.
• Drive trucks to make deliveries to retail accounts.
• Adjust invoices, collect payments for COD accounts, and be responsible for all cash and invoice totals.
• Pick up all empty cases, kegs, and soda trays at every delivery.
• Refuel the truck at the end of the delivery route.
• Unload product and rotate fresh product with existing product at retail based on code date.
• Return undelivered product, breakage, empties, and pallets to proper warehouse locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of trucks, inside and out, including bays and trailers.
• Report any issues with the truck, trailer, or handcart to the Operations Manager and Mechanics.
• Report any issues with handheld devices and printers to the IT Manager and Operations Manager.
• Act as a spotter when backing up a two-man truck.
• Uphold customer service philosophy and exemplify company standards.
• Build and maintain a favorable company reputation to be the Preferred Supplier.
• Address and satisfy customer complaints to build positive business relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL License or Permit required.
• Must hold a valid, clean NYS Commercial Class A driver's license acceptable to the insurance carrier.
• Must be comfortable interacting with retail accounts.
