About the Role

Wright Beverage Distributing is seeking Full-Time Drivers with a Class A license to join their team, offering training, development, and growth opportunities. Drivers may report to or depart from a nearby warehouse. Wright Beverage provides an excellent benefits package, including best-in-class health insurance. The vision for this role is to safely drive company vehicles and correctly deliver products to customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Report to work wearing a clean and neat company uniform.
• Perform a daily DOT truck safety inspection report and file paperwork with the mechanic at EOD.
• Check all fluid levels before starting the truck.
• Load and verify all BBLs and add-on orders to the truck before leaving on the delivery route.
• Drive the truck to make deliveries to retail accounts.
• Adjust invoices when necessary and collect payments for COD accounts.
• Pick up all empty cases, kegs, and soda trays at every delivery.
• Refuel the truck at the end of the delivery route.
• Unload product and rotate fresh product with product already at retail based on code date.
• Return undelivered product, breakage, empties, and pallets to proper warehouse locations.
• Keep trucks clean inside and out daily, including inside bays and trailer.
• Report any issues with the truck, trailer, and handcart to the Operations Manager and Mechanics.
• Report any issues with the handheld and printer to the IT Manager and Operation Manager.
• Act as a spotter when the truck is backing up if operating a two-man truck.
• Uphold customer service philosophy and exemplify company standards.
• Strive to build and maintain a favorable reputation of the Company.
• Answer and satisfy customer complaints whenever possible.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL License or Permit required.
• Must hold a valid, clean NYS Commercial Class A driver's license acceptable to the insurance carrier.
• Regularly required to lift and stack cases of product and ½ barrels.
• Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Must be comfortable interacting with retail accounts.
