About the Role

As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you will deliver exceptional waxing services, contributing to a positive and confidence-boosting guest experience. You will uphold core values of teamwork, winning, energy, and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality waxing services following brand standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
• Build a book of business and retain guests by delivering the ultimate guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
• Educate guests on the European Wax Center product line.
• Maintain brand standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene in all waxing suites.
• Meet Wax Specialist Key Performance Indicators (KPI) according to brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
• Train and role model expected behaviors and processes.

Requirements

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments.
• Must be able to communicate with others.
• Must be able to accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to change in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.
• Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
