About the Role

The Funds Transfer Analyst is responsible for the effective, timely authentication, and processing of client instructions within the Client Account Services group, as a part of Capital Partners. This role manages and oversees all funds transfer requests for Multi-Family Office, Banking, and Institutional clients, serving as the first point of escalation for authentication issues and collaborating on process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze instructions that fall outside standard parameters while adhering to established policies and controls.
  • Assess client documentation for completeness and validity, determining authentication before processing.
  • Evaluate ambiguous or higher-risk situations and decide the appropriate course of action, escalating when necessary.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on funds transfers.
  • Identify process enhancements, lead automation efforts, and oversee testing of improvements.
  • Recommend and prioritize workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and determine corrective actions before they escalate.
  • Serve as first point of escalation for funds transfer and authentication issues, resolving or routing as needed.
  • Conduct client callbacks to authenticate documentation and instructions per Firm policy.
  • Evaluate priorities and determine the optimal sequence for executing sensitive USD or foreign currency transactions.
  • Perform sight and rekey verification, identifying discrepancies and determining resolutions.
  • Independently resolve high-risk and exception items, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to controls.
  • Optimize productivity while remaining responsive to client needs and proactive on problem avoidance.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in funds transfer, banking operations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail, including risk awareness and ability to identify red flags.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of USD and Foreign Currency Payment Processing, Keystone, Pivotal CRM, and Addvantage.
