About the Role
As a sales associate in our Sports Medicine specialty, you will be the face of Stryker products, assisting Sales Representatives in sales, promotion, and marketing. You will educate healthcare professionals on product usage, functionality, and updates, and tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge. This role offers the opportunity to represent a leading medical device brand and impact patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist Sales Representatives in the sales, promotion, and marketing of Stryker products.
- Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff on proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
- Inform customers about product functionality, updates, and educational programs.
- Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge.
- Advise on appropriate product selection.
- Answer customer questions about product functionality.
- Distinguish Stryker products from competitors' products.
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Communicate with large groups of people.
- Communicate telephonically.
- Use common office equipment.
- Routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers.
- Readily solve customer complaints and questions.
- Disseminate product knowledge, including functionality, features, and differentiating factors.
- Analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly.
Requirements
- 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields preferable).
- Successful completion of in-house product training program.
- Must be able to drive an automobile.
- Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts may be required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination depending on customer requirements.
