About the Role

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team at Hard Rock Hotel New York. In this role, your day is shaped by movement, energy, and connection. You will provide prompt and courteous service to all bar guests, take orders, suggestively sell, prepare and serve beverages, and clear/set the bar top and tables. You will foster a high-energy environment driven by passion for excellence, delivering fast, accurate service while maintaining a friendly, engaging presence.

Anticipate guest needs

Reconcile transactions at the end of each shift
Cash out and maintain a balanced bank
Ensure sequence of service is followed for all guests
Accommodate guests’ special requests
Process payments according to POS and cash handling procedures
Ensure all checks are closed out timely
Assist coworkers as needed to complete required activities and deliver amplified service
Offer a warm greeting to all

Requirements

At least four years of prior experience, ideally within a four- or five-star hotel environment
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to stay patient under pressure
Approach every situation with tact and professionalism
Speak additional languages beyond English is a plus
Understand the rhythm of lifestyle hotels
Ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Anticipate guest needs and act with intention
Deliver service that is both polished and personal
Take ownership of every detail of the guest journey
