Responsibilities
- Book hotels, transport, and restaurants.
- Collaborate with suppliers such as ground handlers, museums, and local guides.
- Brief tour leaders, compile their documents, and provide feedback.
- Assist with client queries and special arrangements.
- Contract artists, source venues, and manage logistics for music festivals.
- Cost tours and manage budgets.
- Update the company database and work with the website.
- Maintain reading lists, background information, and online resources.
- Proof client documents, brochure text, and website content.
- Attend client events, tour manage, and travel for inspections and trade fairs.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English, to native-speaker standard.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- One year of office experience is ideal.
- Fluent Italian and/or German.
- Spanish is an advantage.
- Efficient, flexible, and able to work to deadlines with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and genuine interest in the arts (classical music, art, architecture, archaeology).
- Background in art history, classical music, the ancient world, Asian and/or Middle Eastern Studies is of interest.
