About the Role
This role leads a team of digital marketing specialists and collaborates with marketing leaders, business units, and agency partners to deliver measurable business results through paid media, social media, SEO, AI optimization, analytics, and digital campaign management.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of CPA Ontario’s digital marketing strategy, aligning digital initiatives with business objectives and growth targets.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of digital marketing specialists while creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, and other relevant advertising platforms.
- Work closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and against measurable business outcomes.
- Lead SEO and AI Optimization (AIO) strategies to improve visibility across traditional and emerging search experiences.
- Partner with content, social, and web specialists to strengthen discoverability, user engagement, and conversion performance while monitoring industry trends and algorithm changes.
- Establish performance measurement frameworks and use Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, dashboards, and attribution reporting to evaluate success and identify optimization opportunities.
- Manage digital marketing budgets and agency investments to maximize return on investment and align spending with strategic priorities.
- Serve as the primary digital marketing advisor to internal stakeholders.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, negotiate services where appropriate, and identify emerging opportunities, platforms, and technologies that can drive organizational growth.
Requirements
- A university degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 or more years of progressive digital marketing experience.
- 2 to 4 years of people leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns with measurable business impact.
- Strong experience managing paid media programs across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and other advertising platforms.
- A strong understanding of SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, and AI-driven search experiences (AIO).
- Experience using content management platforms such as AEM, WordPress, Drupal, and Agility.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, reporting, and attribution analysis.
- A track record of managing digital marketing budgets, agency relationships, and return on investment.
- Strong strategic planning, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- The judgment to advise senior leaders and the ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.
