About the Role

As part of the Commercial Pricing team, you will help ensure Wise grows sustainably and that customers pay fair and transparent fees. You will focus on making the best commercial decisions for Wise and its customers, with a specific focus on North American markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the overall pricing strategy in collaboration with Finance, Product, and Marketing.
• Determine effective pricing by understanding product value, costs, and margins.
• Build pricing proposals for new products and revise existing product prices based on value and strategic objectives.
• Analyze the impact of pricing on company financials and customer profitability.
• Evaluate the commercial rationale for pricing experiments and collaborate with product teams on prioritization and design.
• Manage the quarterly pricing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
• Communicate pricing developments across the organization.
• Develop pricing frameworks and processes for quick and flexible decision-making, especially for new product expansions.
• Partner with local North American teams and coordinate across departments, leveraging support from European teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Pricing within a fast-paced related industry.
• A strong business background, ideally with a mix of corporate, consulting, and startup/fintech experience.
• Experience in cost attribution and allocation across product verticals.
• Strategic thinking ability to create long-term growth plans and translate them into actions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a 'test and learn' culture with high autonomy and accountability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and a proactive approach to making things happen.
