About the Role
Warehouse Services, Inc is seeking a full-time Material Handler to work at its distribution center in Selkirk, NY. This role involves performing various technical and clerical assignments related to material receipt, inspection, storage, and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, and ship material.
- Performs receiving and shipping inspections to verify quantity, check for damage, and ensure documentation is available.
- Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document receipt, shipment, and control.
- Performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, including material receipt, inspections, storage and shipping.
- Implements, coordinates, and assists in the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out warehousing functions.
- Utilizes manual, clerical, and data entry skills.
