About the Role
The Player Development Associate is responsible for aggressively marketing current offers or promotions to casino guests and facilitating the development of players within their region. This role ensures adherence to company policies, motivates team members, and supports a learning environment while maintaining a safe and welcoming workplace.
Responsibilities
- Meet or achieve assigned marketing and revenue goals.
- Conduct calls to potential guests to promote service offerings.
- Secure guest commitment on service offerings.
- Follow up with guests to thank them for their visit, check for satisfaction, and offer to book their next visit.
- Effectively book reservations and follow up to confirm arrangements.
- Ensure appropriate room type and welcome amenities, arrange shows, meals, and transportation comps upon request.
- Utilize the internal CRM system for prospecting and database development, meeting minimum daily call goals.
- Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with potential guests to build relationships and increase player conversions.
- Aggressively market cold and warm leads on an ongoing basis.
- Track and report on guest calls and outcomes.
- Develop relationships between the property and premium mass guests.
- Ensure guests are introduced to casino hosts to further develop relationships and foster engagement with the property.
- Build relationships on behalf of Great Canadian Entertainment and determine the appropriate channel for communication.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in outbound sales, marketing experience in guest/customer service, or sales management.
- Loyalty program experience.
- Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
- Ability to safeguard and keep information confidential.
- Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and overcome resistance.
- Ability to successfully obtain or maintain gaming registration with the provincial regulator.
- Computer fluency in MS Office suite.
- Ability to aggressively market consumers, successfully overcome objections, and close on reservations.
- Ability to track call transactions and follow up appropriately to book reservations.
- Good cold-calling ability, including opening conversations and effectively promoting features and benefits.
- Ability to convey the terms of all offers and promotions.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
