About the Role
ARA is seeking experienced civil engineers with expertise in pavement and geotechnical engineering research, and pavement/geotechnical asset management, to join our Transportation Division.
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead project work in pavement/geotechnical engineering.
- Work toward industry status as a subject matter expert.
- Lead and contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
- Develop winning proposals in response to RFPs.
- Present research and information at conferences, training courses, industry meetings, department meetings, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in pavement and/or geotechnical engineering.
- Proven experience independently leading research projects or tasks.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
