About the Role

New York TMJ & Orofacial Pain is a modern practice environment designed for superior care and comfort, embracing cutting-edge technology in a soothing atmosphere. We focus on patient experience and support team member success without production quotas.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Assist the Dentist through a variety of procedures and manage lab case/deliveries.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitize and prep operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience required.
• Must have experience with digital radiography, CBCT, intraoral scanning (iTero, Trios, etc.) and lab case management.
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
