About the Role
As Head of Data, you will be a key senior leader, taking ownership of the Data function and setting the direction for its use across the business. This strategic and hands-on position involves owning the data strategy and roadmap, leading a team, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure the organization has the necessary data capabilities for scaling.
Responsibilities
- Own the data strategy and roadmap.
- Lead and develop a small high-performing team.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the organization has the data capabilities it needs to scale.
- Strengthen the use of data and measurement within product development.
- Improve how KPIs are defined, tracked, and used to understand performance and impact.
- Help teams across the organization gain clearer, more reliable insight to support better and faster decision-making.
- Continue to develop the organization’s data infrastructure.
- Establish pragmatic approaches to governance and privacy.
- Explore how AI and automation can be used to improve processes and increase the effectiveness of the Data function.
Requirements
- Strong experience leading or owning a Data function, strategy or roadmap within a growing organisation.
- Hands-on experience across data modelling and analytics engineering.
- Practical knowledge of data governance, privacy and data quality.
- Experience developing scalable and reliable data infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across multiple business functions.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing data professionals.
