About the Role

The Digital Media Marketing Manager will execute digital media advertising campaigns supporting Fidelity Investments Canada. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to manage and optimize campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering strong performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute digital media advertising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies on campaign execution and optimization.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across channels including programmatic display and video, direct publisher partnerships, paid search, Fidelity-owned events, and third-party sponsorships.
  • Support asset and media development.
  • Provide placement recommendations.
  • Deliver detailed post-campaign reporting.
  • Enhance audience targeting and budget allocation.
  • Ensure seamless integration across paid/owned/earned communication plans.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in paid media channels.
  • Develop strategic media briefs for agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage Adobe Analytics to uncover audience insights and build strategies.
  • Utilize internal and external data sources to inform media plans.
  • Work with agency partners to ensure optimal media mix, budget allocation, and platform tactics.
  • Provide consistent reporting for campaign optimization and learning.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of omni-channel media planning and digital media buying.
  • Optimize digital ad campaigns in real-time using Adobe and related marketing tech platforms.
  • Stay aware of external trends and innovations in digital advertising.
  • Develop test & learn media tactics with agency partners.
  • Understand tagging and ad trafficking systems, codes, and processes.
  • Create in-depth analysis of campaign performance, including online media, mobile, and web analytics.
  • Use data platforms to inform targeting strategies for key investor segments.
  • Review detailed metrics with partners and distill analytics into recommendations.
  • Make recommendations to optimize ad spend, ad copy, or ad placements.
  • Ensure timely review and accounting of all advertising spend.
  • Oversee timely invoicing, monthly reconciliation of billing, and payments with external partners.
  • Ensure media budget stays on track.

Requirements

  • Current work authorization for Canada is required.
  • 5+ years of experience building detailed advertising strategies and tactics, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Thorough understanding of paid digital strategy, mobile, and social media channels.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and diplomatically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.
  • Experience with 3rd party ad serving technology (e.g. DoubleClick).
  • Financial services experience is a strong asset.
  • Media Agency experience is a strong asset.
  • Adobe Analytics skill is an asset.
  • Demonstrate an innovative, collaborative, and proactive approach.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Understanding of and interest in building integrated marketing communications programs.
  • Self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and organizational skills.
