About the Role
The role is within the Investment Compliance team, reporting to The Head of Investment Compliance. You will be joining a team of seven responsible for providing advice and oversight of the Investment Management Function, acting as the second line of defense to ensure adherence to Jupiter’s compliance framework and fund prospectus requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key stakeholder in client onboarding investment restrictions and amendment processes.
- Review draft IMA documentation to identify and discuss guidelines requiring or unable to be coded.
- Code, assign, test, and approve guidelines in BlackRock’s Aladdin monitoring system with accuracy.
- Perform daily pre and post-trade compliance monitoring for regulated and segregated portfolios.
- Manage compliance breaches efficiently, maintaining accurate records for internal and external stakeholders.
- Consult with the front office on investment compliance and operational considerations for asset allocation, concentration, and risk management.
- Oversee and advise on adherence to regulations including UCITS and NURS requirements.
- Collaborate with Fund Managers, Dealers, Legal Team, Client RMs, and the wider Risk and Compliance function to manage risks and enhance controls.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and assess their impact on Investment Management activities.
- Assist the wider Compliance team as needed.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Asset Management.
- Working knowledge of all asset classes.
- Experience within guideline monitoring and coding.
- In-depth knowledge of UCITS/NURS AIFMD Regulations applicable to Investment Management activities.
- Experience in UK Authorised Funds, Irish ICVCs, and Luxembourg SICAVs.
- Aladdin experience is essential.
- Measurable attention to detail and accuracy.
