About the Role
This role ensures that warranty claims from motorhome converters regarding material or manufacturing defects are resolved according to Stellantis' warranty promise, applying relevant Stellantis processes and guidelines. It involves supporting converters technically and in after-sales, fostering long-term relationships with Stellantis.
Responsibilities
- Assess claims concerning Stellantis quality standards at motorhome manufacturers.
- Manage and support warranty processing and transport damage claims, especially for new vehicles before motorhome conversion.
- Inform and assist manufacturers with recall and service campaigns.
- Provide consultation on all technical matters, particularly "calibration processes" for ACC and front cameras.
- Support and ensure the servicing of motorhome manufacturers by authorized service partners.
- Assess claims concerning Stellantis quality standards at dealerships / for end customers.
- Determine repair measures, considering the different responsibilities of FCA and the motorhome manufacturer.
- Evaluate claims made by bodywork manufacturers to create product notifications for the parent company.
- Ensure control processes for compliance with agreed quality standards and for warranty cost monitoring.
- Assist other Stellantis departments (Customer Service, Brand Fiat-Professional) with claims from motorhome manufacturers or their end customers.
- Be present at the Caravan Salon for all after-sales inquiries.
- Support end-customer events organized by motorhome manufacturers.
- In cases of paintwork complaints, support involved parties (service partner, Stellantis, or its representatives), potentially with customer and expert involvement, to determine repair measures and cost coverage, aiming for customer satisfaction or justifying claim rejection.
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of Otto and Diesel engines, electronic engine management, manual and automatic transmissions, chassis and drivetrain, brake systems including electronic ABS systems, vehicle electrics and electronics, and active safety systems (anti-theft alarms, electronic immobilizers, airbags).
- Sales experience.
- Warranty knowledge / damage assessment.
- Automotive engineering, master craftsman, or technician qualification.
- Good PC skills, MS Office, diagnostic applications.
- Service experience in the automotive sector.
- Analytical skills / quick comprehension.
- Professional communication skills when dealing with dealers.
- Good English skills, written and spoken, with automotive-specific technical vocabulary.
