About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient infusion center team. This hybrid role is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through hands-on infusion services and clinical oversight functions, with a focus on patient safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.).
- Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication.
- Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies.
- Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies.
- Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation.
- Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Skills
- IV therapy preferred.
