About the Role
Performs preventive maintenance, installation, construction, remodeling, and repair work on plant facilities, services, and production equipment. Utilizes skills in carpentry, millwright, pipefitting, welding, tinning, and mechanics. Works from blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance, installation, construction, remodeling, major overhauls, and repairs to all types of plant facilities and equipment.
- Maintains production machinery and equipment using trades and mechanics tools.
- Performs various maintenance tasks on plant facilities and equipment.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance and timeliness.
- Understands and follows applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- New York State Journeyman card in applicable trade is required.
- 2 to 4 years’ experience is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance is desired.
- Willingness and ability to work off shifts (2nd and/or 3rd), holidays, and weekends.
- This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
