About the Role

The Orthopaedics VELYS Team is seeking a Capital Sales Account Manager for the East Region. This role is responsible for selling innovative VELYS™ solutions for robotically assisted orthopedics and managing complex sales processes through to contract closure. You will build strategic customer relationships and drive sustainable growth in your region.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the sale of VELYS Capital Equipment solutions in the field of robotically assisted orthopedics
  • Building and developing long-term customer relationships with hospital management, chief physicians, and purchasing committees
  • Independent management of complex sales processes from strategic positioning to contract closure
  • Conducting product presentations, business reviews, and ROI-oriented sales discussions at C-level
  • Developing regional market strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Close collaboration with Clinical Teams, Marketing, Service, and international stakeholders
  • Identifying new business opportunities and building a sustainable opportunity pipeline
  • Participation in congresses, workshops, and customer events

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Capital Equipment Sales, ideally in endoprosthetics or medical technology
  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Engineering, Medical Technology, or comparable qualification
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of common Microsoft Office applications
  • High willingness to travel with regular overnight stays domestically and occasional international travel
  • Surgical experience or experience in assisting in the operating room is an advantage
