About the Role
Provide PC, desktop, network, and telecom services in your assigned region, offering first-level Help Desk support and monitoring multiple systems. Requires excellent soft skills, strong technical and analytical abilities, and 24x7 availability for critical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical service and support to the assigned region.
- Offer first-level response for all assigned service tickets.
- Support and maintain desktop, LAN, and telecom environments.
- Deploy new and upgrade existing equipment & software.
- Travel on a flexible schedule as needed.
- Perform daily operational processing tasks.
- Monitor scheduled system processes for successful completion.
- Investigate and resolve monitoring issues.
- Notify or escalate issues to Application Support and Infrastructure departments.
- Ensure rapid restoration of services.
- Meet service levels and manage escalated items to closure.
- Deliver IT communications seamlessly.
- Ensure IT Service Desk is manned during stated coverage windows.
- Maintain a seamless working environment with various support teams.
- Communicate regularly with other IT departments and business units.
- Continue personal development in business and technical areas.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant IT developments.
- Expand knowledge of Hood's business.
Requirements
- Five years of hands-on experience working with and supporting Microsoft and networking environments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, ever-changing workload environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Document, communicate, and resolve technical issues clearly.

Salary/Compensations
- $73,000—$85,000 USD
