About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple restoration and rehabilitation projects in New York City, ensuring successful execution from investigation through close-out by collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium to large-scale architectural projects with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate all project phases including investigation, budgeting, documentation, municipal filing, construction administration, project financials, and close-out.
- Prepare and oversee technical documents including field reports, cost estimates, specifications, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Conduct site inspections from ground level to suspended scaffolding (6–60 stories).
- Maintain client relationships and act as primary liaison for project communication and documentation.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and NYC building codes.
- Troubleshoot project-specific issues and implement timely solutions.
- Stay current on NYC building codes and public review processes.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in architecture or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical writing.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with façade restoration, historic preservation, and forensic investigation.
