About the Role
The Senior IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast-paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. This role requires confident use of Modus to coordinate and ensure the quality of Duty, adherence to policies and procedures, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children
- Understanding of best practice within the domestic abuse sector and in working with women with children
- Experience as a domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs
- Skilled in risk management and safety planning
- Ability to remain calm in a crisis
- Ability to handle sensitive information on a daily basis
- Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence
- Experience of working within safeguarding procedures
- Ability to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision
