About the Role
This is a growth role supporting the delivery of inecta Food implementations alongside a senior project management team. The goal is to keep projects on track, clients and stakeholders informed, and to take on more ownership over time.
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain positive client relationships aligned with company profitability and strategic goals.
- Ensure all actions align with company best interests and client retention.
- Proactively and effectively manage client expectations.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients.
- Flag concerns or complaints appropriately and maintain clear expectations.
- Involve in upselling inecta product to current customers.
- Ensure proactive, plan-driven project execution using the project plan as a guide.
- Drive accountability by ensuring assigned resources complete tasks as scheduled with timely status updates.
- Assess and escalate risks with guidance, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Identify potential deviations early and take corrective action with guidance.
- Anticipate and manage budget risks with guidance.
- Manage change orders with clients and ensure alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and proactively communicate accurate scope and budget status.
- Respond promptly to internal and external communications.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow through on open items.
- Complete tasks independently and seek clarification when needed.
- Demonstrate accountability and seek opportunities for initiative within scope.
Requirements
- 2 years of college or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication skills; participate confidently in internal and client conversations.
- Relevant upselling experience is an asset.
- Self-starter who works well independently and as a team player.
- Exposure to project planning or coordination through internships, academic coursework, or junior roles.
- Familiarity with task tracking and timelines is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully handling difficult situations and resolving conflicts.
- Exposure to tracking hours, budgets, or estimates is preferred.
- Strong plus for experience logging time or reviewing/managing scope changes / change orders.
- Experience maintaining simple project trackers or task logs required.
- Demonstrated experience with PM tools like Asana or Smartsheet is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of managing high-pressure situations effectively.
- History of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining strong relationships.
- Demonstrates proactive communication and collaboration, fostering a positive, solutions-oriented work environment.
