About the Role

Waste Connections is seeking a Truck Washer / Yard Laborer to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of company vehicles and equipment, and to support general yard operations at our Olive Branch, MS facility.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean trucks, trailers, containers, and other company equipment.
• Operate pressure washers, cleaning tools, and related equipment safely.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe wash bay and yard area.
• Assist with general yard duties, including litter pickup and housekeeping.
• Move and stage vehicles within the yard according to safety procedures.
• Support basic preventative maintenance by checking fluid levels and reporting issues.
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of stable employment history in a labor, maintenance, or similar outdoor work environment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
