About the Role

Join our school nutrition team as a Delivery Driver and play a vital role in ensuring students receive the meals they need to learn and thrive! This role offers a family-friendly schedule, with work completed by mid-afternoon, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district
  • Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition
  • Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Follow all local driving laws and school district policies

Requirements

  • A clean, valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Dependability and strong attention to detail
  • Comfort with lifting andcdot moving supplies
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to follow safety guidelines
  • Professionalism when interacting at school sites
  • Speak, read and write in English required
  • 1 year driving in professional role required
  • Team member is frequently required Sit, walk, talk and hear
  • Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
  • Be sitting driving in vehicle
  • Be standing on feet when not in vehicle, in addition to walking back and forth
  • Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is frequently necessary
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
