About the Role
Lead and shape the success of a thriving lettings branch by inspiring and developing your team, driving business growth, and delivering outstanding experiences for landlords and tenants. This role involves building a high-performing team, spotting opportunities, and setting the standard for success in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team
- Coaching the team to achieve KPIs
- Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance, including conducting one-to-one meetings
- Encouraging team development and progression
- Focusing on generating new and repeat business
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
- Liaising with Tenants and arranging property viewings
- Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
- Ensuring the business is risk-averse and adhering to compliance standards for all regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher
- Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities, and colleagues
- Ability to create and action business plans relevant to your branch
- Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
- Strong understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
- Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads
- Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Good telephone manner
- Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
- Attention to detail
- Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK
- Provide proof of address, National Insurance, and Driver's Licence check
