About the Role
The London Private Client Team is seeking a Tax Manager with relevant, detailed, and up-to-date UK tax knowledge, including experience with international tax aspects like residency and UK arrival/departure. This role involves working with a diverse client base, including global sports stars and business leaders, and requires building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver a seamless, holistic service. The position also includes managing projects, providing technical advice, and mentoring junior team members to ensure accurate and timely project delivery. There is a focus on identifying opportunities to further assist clients and deepen relationships, contributing to the growth aspirations of the Private Client business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical advice.
- Manage projects from start to finish.
- Support and coach junior members of the team.
- Review the work of junior team members.
- Help junior team members develop technically.
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities to help clients further and deepen relationships.
Requirements
- Relevant, detailed, and up-to-date UK tax knowledge.
- Previous experience of international aspects of tax (residency, arriving/leaving UK).
- Skilled at building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in a Private Client/Personal Tax role.
- Experience in running a team.
- An awesome advisor who has clients' backs.
- A great communicator, excelling at building solid, trusting relationships.
