About the Role

DMS Digital Developer/Technical Analysts provide technical and business capabilities including solution development, data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, quality assurance, and documentation. They are often seconded to DMS engagements to fill capability gaps and ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping or developing technical solutions using low-code/no-code, robotic process automation, or traditional programming languages.
• Learning new technologies and applying technical best practices to create demonstrations, minimum viable products, or production-ready solutions.
• Reviewing existing systems and designing future technical solutions, including creating system diagrams, data models, interface specifications, and logic flows.
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts of system changes.
• Contributing to the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of technology solutions.
• Designing, executing, and reporting on unit, functional, and acceptance testing.
• Gathering and documenting business requirements through meetings, workshops, and documentation review.
• Analyzing current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and technology introduction.
• Drafting future process designs and creating business requirements documents, user stories, process maps, process definitions documents, and flow diagrams.
• Validating requirements with stakeholders for accuracy and clarity.
• Creating high or mid-level technical specifications based on business requirements.
• Ensuring business requirements can be met by technology and making recommendations on appropriate technical approaches.
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business, performance, and other data.
• Assisting with preparing reports, dashboards, or presentations.
• Identifying trends, risks, or opportunities for proposals or approaches.
• Supporting or leading the development of data governance, security, or confidentiality processes and standards.
• Monitoring compliance or data quality and flagging issues.
• Providing feedback on content, input, or output quality metrics to third-party providers or internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development and review of principles and standards for technical activities.
• Contributing to the development and review of best practice guidance and instruction.
• Developing and improving relationships with technical support and related functions.
• Supporting the development, maintenance, improvement, and management of risk controls.

Requirements

• Good understanding of data concepts such as data modelling, data management, data quality, master data management, reference data, reporting and visualisation, AI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
