About the Role

We are seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our Corporate UK Energy and Resources team in London. This role involves working on high-quality M&A and joint venture transactions, with a focus on oil and gas, within a collaborative and ambitious team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced senior corporate partners on complex M&A and joint venture transactions.
• Contribute to work that is important to clients and the wider sector.
• Advise on high-value, cross-border transactions across a broad range of sectors.
• Develop experience on meaningful and varied corporate work.

Requirements

• Developed strong corporate experience within a City, international or leading regional practice.
• Strong technical skills.
• Sound commercial judgement.
• Genuine interest in working closely with clients.
• Enjoy being part of a team.
• Keen to get involved in business development.
• Motivated by the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and sector-focused environment.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong experience in M&A and joint venture transactions.
• Ideally at least 4 years’ PQE gained within an international law firm, City firm or leading corporate practice.
