About the Role

The College of Sciences at Northeastern University-NYC seeks a part-time lab assistant for laboratory instruction at the 71st Street Campus, supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics labs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper storage and inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Pilot lab experiments.
• Prepare lab facilities for classes.
• Prepare and safely maintain chemical solutions, cultures, growth media, and test specimens.
• Clean lab facilities after labs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Assist faculty and students in teaching labs.
• Maintain Satellite Accumulation Areas and Hazardous Waste Management Areas.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related fields is required.
