About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Complete all project requirements.
  • Participate or lead internal and/or customer consultations regarding field of expertise.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex technical problems using in-depth analysis and innovative techniques.
  • Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership at potential clients.
  • Turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives.
  • Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development.
  • Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use.
  • Deliver virtual Commissioning/Emulation, Testing, and Simulation.
  • Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Manage project resources and budgets when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of plant processes in both Process and Discrete Manufacturing Industries to assist with the conceptual design of process control strategies.
  • Experience in automation system design, software integration, development, commissioning, validation, and start-up.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, AVEVA, Ignition) and control system architecture.
  • English is required for this position due to alignment with multi-national teams where English is the common language.
