About the Role
Episcopal Community Services (ECS) is seeking a Support Services Manager to develop and oversee the Support Services program. This client-facing role involves direct service delivery to participants facing homelessness, behavioral health conditions, and substance use challenges. The position requires collaboration with agencies, team building, program structure development, and comprehensive documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the Support Services program.
- Collaborate with partnering agencies.
- Build an effective team and create program structure.
- Complete required documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate social work provided to residents.
- Supervise Support Services staff, including clinical supervision and scheduling.
- Participate in hiring and termination processes.
- Process payroll and complete personnel documentation.
- Complete employee performance evaluations.
- Monitor the completion, accuracy, and submission of paperwork by staff.
- Ensure contract compliance.
- Attain successful service objective outcomes.
- Adhere to reporting protocols and schedules.
- Manage a program budget.
- Lead the Services team in the rent-up and resident-stabilization process.
- Facilitate effective support groups and other group activities.
Requirements
- At least two years of supervisory experience is required.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team approach, and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing are essential.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Ability to quickly assess and respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, conflict resolution and intervention, and other resident emergencies.
- Must possess a working knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and implementation.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of social services and mental health resources for low income families.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience supervising staff to include: selection of staff, training, development, performance evaluations, progressive discipline, taking appropriate disciplinary action and knowing when to partner with Senior Leadership and Human Resources.
- Must secure finger image screening and annual TB screening.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position which may include long periods at a desk and/or computer workstation and lifting of up to 25 lbs.

- Communicate effectively and model integrity, fairness, and ethical business practices.
- Consideration given to candidates with direct work experience related to mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, and/or child welfare.
- Consideration given to candidates with previous experience working with homeless and low-income individuals.

- $83,935.00 - $85,194.00 Salary
- External Candidates: $83,935 - $85,194
- Internal Candidates: $86,453 - $87,712 Based on Longevity
