About the Role
As a Project Manager at Innomotics, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects for large electrical drive systems, representing them to national and international clients. You will prepare projects according to customer specifications and oversee them through various execution phases to contract fulfillment, including retrospectives. You will collaborate closely with commercial departments and the Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing departments. You will also manage claims and changes for your projects in conjunction with the commercial department and are responsible for identifying, evaluating, and minimizing project-specific risks.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing projects for large electrical drive systems
- Representing projects to national and international clients
- Preparing projects according to customer specifications
- Overseeing projects through various execution phases to contract fulfillment, including retrospectives
- Collaborating closely with commercial departments and the Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing departments
- Managing claims and changes for projects in conjunction with the commercial department
- Identifying, evaluating, and minimizing project-specific risks
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Engineering, or a comparable technical degree with relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management and customer project support
- Ideally, intercultural experience and project management certification
- Basic knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes
- Knowledge of change management, claims management, quality management, and risk management
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Teamcenter
- Independent, structured, communicative, meticulous, and quality-conscious work style
- Effective teamwork and ability to build and utilize networks
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Basic knowledge of the construction and application of electric motors is advantageous
