About the Role

The IGES GmbH is seeking a Consultant Value Strategy & RWE with a focus on healthcare data analysis to join their team in Berlin. This role involves strategic consulting for market access, HE&OR, and RWE departments of leading pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechs, with a focus on real-world data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic consulting for market access, HE&OR, and RWE departments of leading pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechs.
  • Participation in interdisciplinary projects for market access of innovative drugs, focusing on routine data analysis (health insurance and other healthcare datasets).
  • Conception, execution, and evaluation of secondary data analyses, including data preparation, cohort definition, and statistical analyses.
  • Support with HTA-related questions (e.g., evidence requirements, PICO scoping, analysis strategies) and transferring results into publications, presentations, and project reports.
  • Participation in the conception and execution of Real-World Evidence studies to investigate the efficacy and safety of innovative drugs in clinical practice.
  • Conducting systematic literature searches and structured evaluations to supplement routine data findings.
  • Active contribution to the advancement of internal data and methodological expertise, including preparation for analyses of health data from the FDZ Gesundheit.
  • Participation in the creation and publication of scientific papers in journals, project reports, and result presentations.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Master's/Diploma degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Statistics, Biometrics, Medical Informatics, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional experience with routine data analyses (e.g., health insurance or registry data) in an academic or industrial setting.
  • Experience in creating scientific documents, such as study protocols, study reports, or publications.
  • Sound knowledge of epidemiological and statistical methods.
  • Basic knowledge of HTA/Market Access requirements is desirable.
  • Good programming skills in R or Python; knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, structured and meticulous work approach, and a high degree of initiative.
  • Open-minded and communicative personality with teamwork and customer focus.
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken) at a scientific level.
