About the Role

Sungrow UK is seeking a relationship-driven Key Account Manager to foster trusted partnerships and accelerate the adoption of clean-energy solutions across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with strategic customers, EPCs, distributors, and project developers.
• Grow revenue within assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for Sungrow PV inverters, storage, and related solutions.
• Create and deliver account plans that support customer retention, pipeline development, and sustainable business growth.
• Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and negotiate agreements in line with business objectives.
• Work closely with technical, product, service, and operations teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities in the UK solar market.

Requirements

• Experience in key account management, business development, or sales within solar PV, renewable energy, or a related technical B2B industry.
• Strong understanding of the UK solar market, including EPCs, distributors, installers, developers, and commercial customers.
• Confidence in managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation, presentation, and account-planning skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
• English C1; additional European languages are a plus.
