About the Role

DXC is seeking a Project Manager/Project Leader to drive digital transformation for clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of business application development projects, from solution selection and requirements definition to basic design and operation, working collaboratively with domestic and international DXC members as a prime vendor. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your skills in upstream processes, proposal development, and management while solving client challenges and collaborating with global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Conducting client interviews and organizing issues based on business challenges and background.
Examining optimal solutions and designing architectures for business and issues.
Leading requirements definition and basic design.
Creating proposals, estimates, and defining scope.
Client negotiation and stakeholder management.
Project management in collaboration with domestic and international members.
Process management from development to testing and release.
Quality, risk, and issue management.
Team management (member management and development as PL/PM).
Promoting offshore development and reviewing deliverables.

Requirements

Project management experience for projects over 50 person-months or with teams of over 10 people.
Experience negotiating with clients regarding proposals, estimates, and project baselines such as scope and budget.
Project management experience in highly public systems or core business systems (industry not specified).
Ability to communicate smoothly with clients and internal/external related organizations.
Experience as a project leader for projects with teams of 5 or more people.
Experience as a project leader in highly public systems or core business systems, or aspiring to be a project leader (industry not specified).
Experience in data integration platform development.
Experience in large-scale projects as a project leader.
Experience with projects on AWS/Azure is desirable.
Experience with projects utilizing offshore development is desirable.
Business English proficiency is desirable.
PMP certification is desirable.
Over 4 years of development experience (experience with waterfall model is a plus).
Experience in basic design to internal design and creating test specifications.
Development experience using programming languages such as Java.
Data modeling (normalization, logical/physical design), SQL creation, and performance tuning experience.
Quality evaluation and review experience.
Smooth communication skills with clients and internal/external parties.
Experience in member development.
Cloud project experience such as AWS/Azure.
Experience with projects utilizing offshore development.
Interest in the latest business and IT trends and willingness to acquire new skills.
Sense of responsibility for QCD and ability to persevere positively through adversity.
Ability to analyze and utilize collected information to propose solutions for problem-solving.
Ability to accurately grasp the situation and act and communicate from the other party's perspective.
