About the Role

We are looking for an intermediate-level Architect/Designer to support interior projects across our facilities, from renovations of existing spaces to build-outs for new programming. This role involves working closely with development and construction teams to manage projects from concept through construction, with hands-on responsibility for design, drawings, and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Develop interior design concepts and space plans for interior fitout projects.
  • Prepare and coordinate drawings, specifications, and finish schedules using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Collaborate with leadership, project managers, and facility operations staff to carry design intent through to construction or handoff.
  • Research and select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures suited to high-traffic athletic and event environments.
  • Assist with project budgets, schedules, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and drawing sets throughout each project phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including interior architecture or interior design projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp required.
  • Strong sense of interior design and space planning.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction documentation standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with sports, fitness, hospitality, or other high-traffic commercial interiors is a plus.
  • Professional licensure (RA) or progress toward licensure is a plus, though not required.
