About the Role
As a Customer Success Manager with an Audit Background at DataSnipper, you will own the success of a portfolio of accounts. You will leverage your direct experience in audit to understand audit team workflows, priorities, and connect DataSnipper to critical firm processes. You are a reliable, independent operator who applies CS frameworks and uses audit knowledge to accelerate adoption, build credibility with audit stakeholders, and design unique enablement. You will manage onboarding, QBRs, health monitoring, and renewals with predictability and follow-through, communicating in a language audit professionals trust. Your audit domain credibility will open doors and unlock conversations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to Audit Managers, Senior Auditors, and engagement team leads, understanding customer workflows, quality standards, and operating models.
- Translate DataSnipper's capabilities into language and use cases that resonate with audit professionals.
- Run onboarding and training sessions grounded in how audit teams work, mapping features to real engagement tasks, sample testing, and evidence management.
- Monitor portfolio health using product data, stakeholder signals, and understanding of audit operating rhythms.
- Respond to or escalate account health issues with appropriate context.
- Create success plans connecting DataSnipper capabilities to audit-specific outcomes like engagement efficiency, sample coverage, review cycle speed, and quality compliance.
- Align milestones to audit calendar realities and firm methodology.
- Articulate DataSnipper's business impact using metrics and framing that resonate with audit professionals, such as time saved and risk reduction.
- Run QBRs and stakeholder conversations with credibility.
- Identify expansion opportunities within your portfolio using your understanding of firm structure.
- Support Sales in building ROI cases for audit leadership.
- Share audit workflow intelligence with Product, Sales, and Solutions Engineering.
- Surface patterns requiring audit expertise for interpretation, such as methodology gaps or adoption friction.
- Help peers understand audit customer context and act as an internal resource for audit-specific questions.
- Maintain accurate customer data, health signals, and portfolio records in internal systems.
- Use data to make better decisions and support reliable reporting.
Requirements
- Direct experience working in or alongside audit teams, understanding engagement lifecycles, sample testing, evidence management, team hierarchies, and quality standards.
- Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role in B2B SaaS, combined with direct audit experience (auditor, audit technology specialist, or client-facing role embedded in audit workflows).
- Understanding of how audit engagements are structured, what drives adoption in audit teams, and how to speak credibly to audit professionals.
- Ability to design and execute onboarding and training programs mapped to real audit workflows, including audit cycle timing, firm methodology, and engagement team structure.
- Proven ability to follow through, manage a portfolio independently, hit commitments, and deliver consistent outcomes without close supervision.
- Proficiency in using product data and health signals to anticipate risks and make decisions.
- Comfort with CS tools and CRM platforms.
- Clear communication skills in both audit professional language and CS/GTM contexts.
- Ability to navigate stakeholder conversations with audit managers and firm leadership.
- Translate audit conversations into internal action.
