About the Role
You will be part of our newsroom, supporting our desk with SEO knowledge, identifying traffic-relevant topics, and optimizing our content. You will evaluate our traffic using various SEO tools and develop improvement suggestions. You will be in constant communication with the SEO team, stay informed about current trends, and have a good overview of what's happening at Google, especially Discover and Google News. You will help t-online deliver a strong and successful journalistic offering every day, with your input being valued in steering our content, finding the best topics, and prioritizing them correctly.

Requirements
- Journalistic or comparable education or degree
- Ideally, professional experience in Publisher SEO
- Excellent writing skills
- Fast and meticulous work approach
- Ability to work at the pace of a newsroom
- A knack for identifying topics that resonate with readers and can achieve high reach
- Willingness to work occasional weekends (max. 1 weekend per month)
- Interest in a wide range of news and evergreen content
- Support departments in producing content with high informational and entertainment value
