About the Role

The Campaign Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective running of client accounts, translating client objectives into decisive action through team management, task delegation, and exceptional media relations.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships, establishing self and TEAM LEWIS as an invaluable long-term partner.
  • Manages all client communication, ensuring deadlines and service agreements are met.
  • Reviews account performance with clients and Campaign Director, identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Supports new business pitches through coordination, content generation, and presentation preparation.
  • Schedules, organizes, and leads client meetings, providing consultative advice.
  • Understands and positions clients within the news agenda.
  • Oversees all media relations activity and maintains key media contacts.
  • Builds and develops relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and analysts.
  • Utilizes networks to create and maximize client coverage, advising on narratives.
  • Maintains and promotes a sound understanding of current affairs relevant to the industry.
  • Deploys rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients.
  • Oversees and provides content creation for campaigns, including press releases and articles.
  • Drafts and oversees the drafting of various written materials, ensuring high quality.
  • Works with content experts to improve knowledge of techniques and writing styles.
  • Uses social media platforms to expand networks, develop media relationships, and impact client results.
  • Pitches additional digital content to support written content and client aims.
  • Uses social media and explores new tools to optimize client PR campaigns.
  • Provides social media insight and manages related digital activity.
  • Collaborates with the digital team to increase digital service utilization.
  • Acts as a respected line manager, supporting the career development of line reports.
  • Line manages the account team, including coaching, supervision, and review.
  • Sets team objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Ensures the ongoing achievement of client objectives.
  • Monitors team activity levels against budget and adjusts allocations.
  • Provides guidance to colleagues on campaign management and new business requests.
  • Supports the Talent team in recruiting junior-level candidates.
  • Works with the HR team to reward, retain, and develop the team, and resolve performance issues.
  • Attends and leads TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings.
  • Ensures all activity and results are reported back to the client with insight and analysis.
  • Communicates account performance internally during account reviews.
  • Provides detailed reports to the Campaign Director or senior management.
  • Runs and supports training sessions to expand team skills and grow revenues.
  • Takes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, work, identity, and values.
  • Supports the HR/talent team by promoting internal and external opportunities.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of systems, practices, and policies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a B2B technology industry, corporate, or digital communications agency environment at a Campaign/Account Manager level.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Thorough knowledge of social media.
