About the Role
VYTAL is seeking a finance professional to help solve the problem of packaging waste by developing an intelligent circular system for reusable packaging. This role is crucial in redefining reusable packaging and promoting behavioral change across the value chain.
Responsibilities
- Continuous business planning, including budget and cash flow planning, controlling, and optimization.
- Developing the finance function with a focus on automation and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Managing group accounting, including monthly and annual financial statements, and liaising with tax advisors, auditors, and bank partners.
- Conducting investor relations activities, including regular reporting on financial, operational, and impact KPIs.
- Supporting grant applications and equity/debt financing through precise analysis, presentations, and proposals.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, and controlling, ideally as a Head of Finance in a fast-growing startup with international branches.
- Strong ability in integrated corporate planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), including group companies.
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills and a good understanding of DATEV.
- Experience with software tools such as ZohoBooks, Moss, Ramp, Gusto, Personio is advantageous.
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Analytical and structured approach to work with a passion for challenges.
