About the Role

Rogers Bank is expanding and seeking passionate individuals to develop and implement innovative financial solutions and experiences. The bank offers unique cash-back benefits and financing options for Rogers purchases using cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data mining and analytical support for credit risk initiatives including customer origination, customer management, collections, and recovery.
  • Query, filter, combine, transform, and present data for reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinate with different groups in Rogers to develop business cases and obtain approval for credit risk projects.
  • Ensure credit policies are maintained for enterprise projects.
  • Investigate, resolve, and fix disputes, discrepancies, issues, and concerns from internal and external customers in credit evaluation, account maintenance, and credit reporting.
  • Maintain existing and new processes and systems.
  • Perform other duties as required such as processing vendor invoices, budget forecasting and reporting, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Support Business Case creation, providing assumptions and validating forecasting.
  • Provide business recommendations based on analyses to optimize Credit Strategy.
  • Own the solution recommendation and facilitate strategy implementation.

Requirements

  • Experienced data analyst with expertise in Databricks, SQL, and data validation.
  • Capable of developing robust scripts and implementing quality controls for accurate data extraction and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfort using Microsoft PowerPoint to present data.
  • Working knowledge of predictive modeling software such as Knowledge Seeker/Studio, Enterprise Miner, SPSS, or Model Builder.
  • High aptitude for learning new analytical software, programming languages, and communication tools.
  • Previous experience using and navigating AMDOCS or similar billing systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data mining, data analysis, reporting, gap analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Well-organized and forward-thinking.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Resilient and flexible to change.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team to meet multiple aggressive deadlines.
  • Minimum two years of work experience preferably in consumer credit risk, fraud, or collection operations.
  • Exposure to telecom, credit bureau, credit card, consumer banking, or similar credit and collections environment in an analytical capacity.
  • A pre-employment background check will be conducted.
  • Candidates must clear a criminal background check.
  • A credit check and driver's abstract may be required depending on the role.
