About the Role

The Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and the ability to support diverse client needs in a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet Members and visitors warmly, ensuring proper sign-in protocols.
  • Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional team members to support holistic client care.
  • Maintain accurate client records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate clients on injury prevention, mobility, and wellness strategies.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary Physiotherapy program.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Education and/or experience supporting relevant client populations—such as chronic disease and women’s health—is considered a strong asset.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR-C Certification.
  • Valid Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using email and fitness software.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with fitness equipment setup.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and walking throughout shifts.
  • Able to respond promptly in emergency situations.
