About the Role

Empire Life is seeking a Bilingual Distribution Services Coordinator for a 12-month contract to support distribution partners by maintaining accurate contracting and compensation records. This role operates under procedural guidelines and supervisor direction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact with distribution partners.
  • Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from distribution partners and customers through verbal and/or written communication.
  • Make outbound calls to external clients and distribution partners.
  • Apply critical thinking to screen contracts and related documents to meet established service levels, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Enter and maintain data into multiple administration systems.
  • Review and analyze data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure database is updated and validated with correct information.
  • Investigate and analyze simple to complex cases and escalate if required.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Work experience in the financial services industry or the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet and database applications.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Well developed communication skills.
  • Well developed customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
