About the Role
Empire Life is seeking a Bilingual Distribution Services Coordinator for a 12-month contract to support distribution partners by maintaining accurate contracting and compensation records. This role operates under procedural guidelines and supervisor direction.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact with distribution partners.
- Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from distribution partners and customers through verbal and/or written communication.
- Make outbound calls to external clients and distribution partners.
- Apply critical thinking to screen contracts and related documents to meet established service levels, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
- Enter and maintain data into multiple administration systems.
- Review and analyze data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure database is updated and validated with correct information.
- Investigate and analyze simple to complex cases and escalate if required.
Requirements
- Bilingualism in French and English is required.
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Work experience in the financial services industry or the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet and database applications.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail/accuracy.
- Well developed communication skills.
- Well developed customer relations skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
