About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on teammate for our glass tempering production team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, or equipment operation who value quality and attention to detail. We provide comprehensive training on our equipment and processes, requiring only reliability, urgency, and the ability to work independently from day one.
Responsibilities
- Safely move and handle glass through the tempering process.
- Operate and monitor production equipment.
- Read work orders, measurements, and production requirements.
- Perform quality checks throughout the process.
- Prepare materials and stage upcoming work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area.
- Report concerns related to safety, quality, paperwork, or equipment.
- Learn machine setup, adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic equipment care over time.
Requirements
- Prior hands-on work experience in manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, logistics, equipment operation, or a similar environment preferred.
- Strong attendance and reliability required.
- Ability to work at a steady production pace.
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning equipment operation preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the shift.
- Positive attitude, team mindset, and willingness to learn.
