About the Role
Luxury Escapes is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their Engineering team, focusing on enhancing the customer journey and booking experience across their global travel platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-impact customer experiences using modern technologies and AI-augmented development tools.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality frontend features in React to improve the customer journey and increase conversion.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to iterate on customer-facing features and booking experience improvements.
- Design and implement A/B tests and product experiments.
- Utilize AI-augmented development tools and workflows to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Continuously improve frontend performance, reliability, accessibility, and user experience.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate frontend features with microservices and third-party systems.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, including automated testing and continuous delivery.
- Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and maintaining large-scale React applications in production.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript with a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices.
- Experience designing high-performance, responsive user interfaces and improving frontend performance, accessibility, and reliability.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, including state management, component design, and scalable application structure.
- Experience writing automated tests for frontend applications and contributing to CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working closely with product managers and designers to ship customer-facing features.
- Familiarity integrating frontend applications with microservice-based backends and REST APIs.
- Comfort using AI-augmented development tools and workflows.
