About the Role

Axiom is seeking a senior corporate lawyer at Special Counsel level to provide proactive, practical, and pragmatic legal and governance support across a global business. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity with a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, practical, and commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of corporate, commercial, and governance matters.
• Lead and advise on APAC/ANZ financing activities, including the preparation, review, and negotiation of relevant legal documentation.
• Manage corporate paperwork and documentation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, board materials, resolutions, and other corporate documents.
• Advise on and manage intercompany arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Independently manage a diverse portfolio of legal matters at Special Counsel level with minimal supervision.
• Provide legal and governance support across the global business, working with stakeholders across Australia, the US, Singapore, and Europe.

Requirements

• Senior corporate lawyer at Special Counsel level with the ability to independently manage a broad range of legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong corporate and commercial experience, with exposure to APAC/ANZ financing, corporate documentation, intercompany arrangements, and governance.
• Experience working within complex, multinational or listed-company environments, ideally with exposure to ASX and/or NASDAQ-listed organisations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice across a global business and work effectively with teams across Australia, the US, Singapore, and Europe.
